Fiber Optic Couplers & Splitters

Splitter

Splitter

Splitters - the passive equipment providing division of an optical signal. There are some types of splitters:

  1. Floatable splitters (AIE) with division coefficient to 1:8
  2. Planar splitters (PLC) with deleeniye coefficient to 1:32

Use of splitters is caused by need of obtaining special direction characteristics a join path of several antennas or for the organization of distributive networks in inside placing.
Main characteristics of splitters:

  • low losses;
  • high conducting power;
  • balance (splitter) and not balance (tupper) division of input power;
  • possibility of use both in locations, and out of them;
  • small overall dimension;
  • multi-band execution of 800-2200 MHz.
